# E York Vintage & Antiques offer for sale:- Volume 34 of the 10th Edition of Encyclopedia Britannica - "Maps" ~ 1903 Showing the "world" pre WW1 ~ Austro Hungarian Empire, German Empire, Africa dominated by the European Powers, the Chinese Empire, India Canada & Australia as part of the British Empire or dominions, etc etc. A fascinating, very comprehensive and detailed set of maps, including all the US States in detail, the UK by region, all the key countries in Europe, USSR, China, the Far East, Australia, etc etc. Complete with condition as noted below (and in the photographs) Printed by Adam & Charles Black, Edinburgh Condition - the binding, and the map pages and text are generally in very good condition. The boards and spine are actually very clean, bright and tidy - unfortunately being a heavy volume typical of the period, the book is disbound, and the index pages to the rear of the book are in poor condition.
