I am selling a 1897 first edition of Tenting on the Plains by Elizabeth Custer, wife of General George Armstrong Custer. This book details the experiences of General Custer, his wife, and the U.S. Army as they pursued Indians they considered to be renegades.This book is very interesting reading. An ecclectic book of stories that was hard to put down. The book is in very good condition considering that it was printed in 1897. The cover has very slight scuffs and wear. The opening page has the former owners name written on it. Other than that the interior seems to be perfect in condition. Thank you for your interest.
