In a medium weight synthetic (likely acrylic or similar) of a charcoal grey background with woven interrupted horizontal dashes in black, the fabric is smart and modernistic. The silhouette is classic 50s- a very fitted bodice has an attractive curved empire seam and bust darts, and multiple panels that contour the nipped in waist and turn into deep box pleats in the full front skirt, with the back skirt simply flared. Finished pertly with a series of self covered buttons at the bust, this dress looks lovely as shown, and looks just as sweet with a simple black 1/2 sleeve top worn underneath as well, giving it all-season versatility. Measurements: bust: 36" (would be appropriate for a 34" bust) waist: 28" (would be appropriate for a 27 " waist) hips: free! bodice length: 16" (from top of strap to waist) skirt length: 22" (from waist to hemline) with nothing hem available to let down. *note, this dress is shown with a petticoat and necklace which
