Up for sale/auction are my VERY RARE, with an ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS Show Chrome finish, EARLY 80’s TRUE Old School 175mm TerryCable Power Cranks. These are probably THE lightest tubular Chromoly cranks EVER made. Both arms together only weigh a couple of ounces more than a single Old School Profile or Redline crank arm of the same length. They are also strong. Stronger than solid forged aluminum cranks and lighter than most of them. I bought these off a show bike and never even mounted them on the project I bought them for. I only lightly and loosely “test fitted” them to a couple bottom bracket spindles to check for compatibility. It’s recommended to use them with an Old School Sugino or Hadley type B/B, since the older JIS tapers are extremely similar to old school non-splined early Redline and Sugino cranks. But they’ll also work perfectly with other B/B spindles, even modern ones, if they are Old School length (128mm+ or 5”+) or even just if the spindle atleast has a JIS taper style with 16mm or more of tapered area on each end. The tapers and all the threads are in great shape and are very clean considering the age of these cranks. Approx. 27+ years. The photos do not do the cranks justice.
