from dry Colorado - its tested - both the circular fluorescent & regular incandescent bulbs work fine - you can turn on either bulb by itself, or both together for more light... It mounts to most tables/desk with a very sturdy clamp [the clamp can be removed]... it also has tabs where it could be mounted to a table top w/ screws [the clamp is better - the tabs are lightweight and a bit delicate looking]... also has knobs so that you can lock in the lamps position adjustment - this is a GREAT vintage drafting lamp!!Tested Working Vintage USA Made DAYTON 2V351B 1950s Modern/Industrial ARTICULATED DRAFTSMANS DESK LIGHT LAMP...the 1950s industrial/modern lamp works fine - good original very dark brown enamel finish... the shade has some small dents and a bit of tape residue...Payment - PayPal Shipping - Buyer Pays
