You are bidding on a Vintage TESTORS 1957 CHEVY FUNNY CAR/ GASSER Nitro Powered Tether Car Made in 1977 - Item Number 3800. Made in America. My Husband bought this car at a swapmeet over Thirty Years ago. He put after run oil in the Engine, put it in a plastic bag and it's been in a box on a shelf since then. The Car shows very little wear. I did not 'heat' it, but the glow plug reads 1.4 ohms on our ohm meter... so I suspect it's still good. The Chrome has faded, I see a couple of cracks by the rivits on the trunk lid and a crack on the rear drive wheel. (see pictures) No cracks in the windsheild nor did I see any others in the body or body parts. Nor is the 'glass' frosted from fuel. The engine turns over nice with good compression and I can see the piston is nice and shinny, so most likely it would run. For it's age, It looks nice enough to go on a display shelf.
