Two 18- wheeler Texaco tankers made of pressed steel with plastic; solid with nothing loose. . 100% complete ( ALL original ) with no resin or any type of casted copied parts . Stickers are all orginal. The original cartons they came in are complete and in good shape. THESE TOY TRUCKS HAVEN'T BEEN DISPLAYED OR PLAYED WITH. These were production releases in the early half of 1970. Both Texaco fuel tankers measure near 24" in length, 6" in heighth and 6" in width. Other than the boxes themselves... these tankers ARE NEAR FLAWLESS. They have pulled nothing but shelf duty.

The Republic Tool Texaco tankers are 37 yrs . old and made by Republic Tool and Manufacturing Company Los Angeles 90025. The tractor part : Exhaust stack and fuel tanks show excess plastic from day one of manufacturing as do other parts of the commercial truck. Chrome on passenger and drivers side fuel tanks are reflective but show signs of fading as do the smoke stacks. Tires, rims, fenders, bumper, mud flaps, radiator grille, fog lights, headlights, hood, marker lights and storage compartment are great. All black plastic retains reflective appearance. Rivets are still shiny. The trailer part: Kingpin , Landing gear and sand shoes are like FACTORY DAY ONE . Storage and fuel discharge compartments very much retain the chrome reflective finish. Spare tire and tire cradle ( unmolested ), left and right hoses, bumper, tires, top fill caps and area around rear axle still have black plastic reflective finish. Turn signal, Upper marker lights and taillights are still red with no abrassions or cracked. All stickers are MINT. Tanker trailer part is able to stand on it's own landing gear and sand shoes when unhooked and parked. All parts that are clear are clear with no signs of YELLOWING. This would be 9.7 out of a perfect 10. Both are in identical condition. The boxes deserve kudos for what they protected.
