This is the 1958 edition of AGGIELAND the Texas A&M Yearbook. It is Volume No. 56. This is the year that a football player named John David Crow was not only All-America but also was awarded the Heisman Trophy - the only Aggie Heisman Trophy winner in the history of the school. Of course this 540-page yearbook is loaded with photographs. One in color features a double-page spread with the "Spring Beauties". Vanity Fair and their escorts in front of the president's mansion. Love the hoop-skirt formal gowns! This wonderful nostalgia item weighs close to 7 pounds. T is some wear on the spine and edges and a bit of age discoloration on some of the pages as well as some light 'rippling' of some of the pages - perhaps from being stored in a damp environment? Despite that, I still would grade the yearbook as in good condition.
