'PAT' OLSEN. This extremely rare document outlines the terms of Olsen's agreement to play baseball for the AMERICAN LEAGUE BASE BALL CLUB OF NEW YORK (present day NEW YORK YANKEES). The only other copy of this contract will be on-file in the archives of the Yankees Baseball Organization. This contract was for professional services during the 1924 MLB season at a salary of $2,400. Pat Olsen is a Texas A&M legend and the present day baseball stadium is named for him. The Aggies have played baseball at Olsen Field since 1978.
