Texas Oil Painting Landscape Bluebonnets Pedro Lazcano Search A Fine Texas Landscape painting with Bluebonnets, Oil on artist board, Pedro Lazcano Pedro Lazcano (1909 - 1970) San Antonio, Texas. Image size 12" Wide x 9" Tall. A noted hard worker, he spent most of his adult life as an engraver in Texas, then lost his job to technology. According to history he had a natural talent for art and spent lots of time with his close friend and drinking buddy Porfirio Salinas, another reknowned Texas artist. Selling his paintings door to door to feed his family he still found time to enhance his skills with Salinas and often visited and studied with Robert Wood. We offer this fresh to the market lovely oil way below retail value and his auction record history. We observe a small stain in field. Prior framing as noted at borders. After years spent in a local estate it is just dusty! Would make a wonderful addition to the right collector or home. Offered as found with two other Lazcano paintings listed for auction at our site.
