Note: This is what we classify as a second. It's still a very nice badge but is not our Grade A quality. We lost the date on this 1877 Mexican 8 Reales during the hand stamping process. They are hand made so some times things happen. We still have to replace the coin so is your chance to pick one up real cheap!!!

This badge was hand cut and made from a 1877 Mexican 8 Reale. Back in the old days badges w not mass produced. A lot of the time an officer would have his own badge made by his favorite gunsmith who would hand make it. No two w ever exactly alike.

Each badge is hand cut from a real silver coin. This makes each badge unique with its own character. We try hard to make these replicas look and feel just like it's original counter part.

This is a very well made badge. Perfect for you collection or reenactment use.
