This is a Royal Thai Airborne beret badge . This is the smaller size worn by the enlisted soldiers. Officers wear a similar but larger badge. The figure in the center of the badge is a winged Garuda. This is a sacred figure in Thailand and is believed to bring the parachutists good fortune. The badge is made of brass and has one vertical pin for attachment. See Photo. A nice addition to any military collection.
