This a cloth Mobile Reserve Platoon (MRP) Parachute Jump qualification badge from Thailand. The MRP is a small platoon sized organization tasked to quickly respond to crisis situations. They can be parachuted in or placed on site by helicopter. Both symbols are on this badge. The helicopter is the dark object in the suspension line of the parachute. MRP can be seen on the National colored shield. This badge is illustrated in the Bragg and Turner books as B&T 834. Thailand has quite possibly more varieties of parachute wings than any other nation and some of the most beautiful in the world. I personally obtained this badge from Thai Airborne sources in 1987.
