The "Apache" Elk Skin Sheath and Knife.....Great sheath and knife set, the sheath body is made from 100% top grain aged elk skin, with the fringes, lacing, leg, belt loop, and knife tie-down straps are 100% top grain aged buckskin (deer), full 1/2" buckskin lacing around entire sheath, for strength and durability, beautfiul 1 1/2" round nickle silver and brass southwestern conchos (screw back) with buckskin fringes and nickle silver and oval solid brass beads attached, buckskin wrapped imitation eagle feather attached to side of sheath. The knife is a 12" (8" blade, 4" handle) made in the USA, "Green River" by Russell, same manufacturer and style of knife the tribesmen and early settlers used and loved, its a high carbon steel, super sharp, butcher style blade, favored blade type by both tribesmen and mountainmen. The knife handle is a red oak, wrapped with aged buckskin with brass tack secured to top of handle, buckskin knife tie-down with brass crow beads attached to secure knife in sheath.
