Up for auction is the original movie poster from the upcoming film "The Departed". This crime thriller film was released on 10-6-06 & just killed at the box-office. The all-star cast includes Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, Anthony Anderson & Alec Baldwin. The director of this gangster, action-adventure is Martin Scorsese. The size of this double-sided poster is 27 inches by 40 inches. (Please check out the photos to see the condition & style). This poster has never been dis-played and is in new condition. Set in South Boston, the State Police force are waging a war on organized crime. Leonardo (a police officer) goes undercover to infiltrate the mob. Matt (who is in the mob) has gone undercover in the police force. Each becomes consumed by his double life. Then the truth comes out & both men have to fight to save their lives. Lots of action with some extreme suspense. The filming in South Boston is very realistic, as is the violence. Martin always has the best soundtracks in his films, so get ready to rock & roll. This film was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture & Best Director.
