is the complete collection of books that are referred to as "The Erlangen Edition of Luther's Works". Each have "Dr. Martin Luther's Deutsche Schriften" on the cover.This is the complete set containing all of the volumes 1-67. Each book in this collection is in Excellent or better condition unless otherwise noted. It was the first extensive German edition, of Martin Luther's writings to be collected and published in its original Latin and German. Luther was the "Father of the Reformation." These were published in Erlangen, Germany, in the 1800's. This set was previously owned by a now deceased, octogenarian Lutheran minister who had inherited them from someone in his family. They were purchased in the 90s from that minister's grandson who was just beginning seminary work. For being as old as it is, the set is in Excellent condition---having been used by several owners---and complete in German.This is a very rare complete collection in great condition!
