This Franklin Mint Collectible consists of two lovely bisque porcelain 10 inch white trees topped with golden stars and adorned with tiny golden hooks. It is accompanied by 25 coin ornaments minted with a full proof finish and electroplated with 24 karat gold. Each ornament bears an original design created only for this Christmas calendar. Example titles are "Sleigh Ride", "Timming The Tree", "Bells of Christmas" and "Star of Bethlehem". Each ornament comes with a pamphlet explaining the significance of the chosen design. The original purchase price of each coin was $29 in 1995 bringing the price of the calendar to over $700. The calendar has a Certificate of Authenticity but no box. T is a storage board for the coins. T are some extra coins which will be included in the purchase price. The little golden hooks on the trees are fragile and a few had to be reglued when the calendar was removed from storage. The coins are obviously the most valuable part of this collectible. However, the trees look like new and the entire calendar is in excellent condition.
