Antique 11 piece The James Swan Co. Bevel Edge Chisel Set in a very cool, very old Swan's Auger Bit Box This was my neighbors Grandpa chisel set. T is a stamp on the top of the metal that has a picture of a swan. Under the swan it says EXTRA, BEST TOOL STEEL. And over the Swan I think it says THE JAMES SWAN CO. From the little research I did on the internet, it looks like these are from around 1910 or 1930s. They look a little rusty, and some of the handles have fallen off. Most of them are straight Bevel Edge but their a one or two that are curved at the end. They range in size from 12 inches to 15 in long. I found indivudal chisels like these selling on antique web site for $ 98 to $229 but this is a set for 11 of them with antique box. Full payment is due with-in 3 days of the end of action (or confirmation that payment has been mailed). If payment is not received the item will be re-listed and our contract is void. I will ship via USPS once payment has been received. Insurance is required as this item is in perfect shape and I want to insure that you receive it that way.
