Offered now is a slightly used edition of the Railway Equipment Register from October 2007.

This big paperback edition of the register gives the listings of equipment owners of railroads & also private car companies from North America.

The book has over 1500 pages & is a full 3" thick. It gives the specifications of all rolling stock currently operated by the railroads & the private car companies, featuring length, height, door widths, capacity, number of cars in any given group, etc.

It also includes the rolling stock of railroads either absorbed, abandoned or bought by other roads and still running under it's original railroad initials.

In the front of the book is a listing of issuing carriers of Class 1, 2 & 3 railroads; A listing of the index of railroads & private car owners, & a listing of reporting marks (to identify the initials on a car to a specific railroad).

In the back of the book is a section on special equipment; designation of different "classes" on freight cars; passenger cars of the National Railway Historical Society; An "Officers Index" giving the names & business addresses of the company officers.

This book is in excellent, unused condition and retails new for $100. I'm starting this at $9.95 with NO RESERVE!
