For auction are the first six issues in the Shadow series..It was a geat concept based on the 1930's radio show..Fine stories bordering on the macabre ..These comics have been in plastic practically from the day I bought them 35 years ago..MW Kaluta did all the artwork ,Denny O'Neil , the stories...Conditions are stated below #1 , Nov 1973: "The Doom Puzzle" Minimal binding stress and tiny corner creases . Condition: Very Fine Plus , 8.5 #2 , Jan 1974; "The Freak Show Killer" Very slight binding mismatch otherwise clean and smooth , Condition :Very Fine Plus , 8.5 #3 , Mar 1974: "Kingdom of the Cobra" Minor staple stress , corner blunting and abrasion , still it has a fine glossiness and a new-book feel .Condition :Very fine Minus , 7.5 #4 , May 1974 "Death is Bliss" Minor wear , crease in lower right corner , otherwise great eye-appeal Condition : Very Fine Minus , 7.5 #5 , July 1974 "Night of Neptune's Death" Very minor binding stress ; otherwise no obvious defects , Condition : Very Fine Plus 8.5 #6 , Sept 1974 "Night of the Ninja" Excellent condition , only the most minimal sign of wear Very fine / Near Mint , 9.0 My grading is based on the Overstreet Guide ..I have worked hard to be fair and honest..Please contact me for questions ..These comics will be shipped by media mail ..I am also auctioning Daredevil comics presently. read more
