You are bidding on "The Spice Carousel" by Lenox. This set was produced in 1993. All 24 jars are made of fine procelain china and accented in gold. I believe it is 22K gold, but I don't know for sure. T are six jars per color; (please refer to pictures) yellow, pink, green and blue. Each jar measures 3-3/4", comes complete with lid and rubber stopper, and features a different carousel animal. All are in excellent condition with no chips or fading. The wooden rack has 3 tiers which hold 8 jars each and measures 16" tall x 18" wide x 6" deep and its widest points. The rack can be placed on a counter or other flat surface or hung on a wall with the attached metal fasteners on back (hooks or other hanging hardware is not included). The rack has brass accents which are slightly tarnished and t are a few scratches on the wooden rack, neither of which affect the beauty of this magnificent showpiece. I had this set on display in my smoke-free home for a short time. The spice jars never held spices. It was strictly for show. This set was sold as a collectors/membership set. Each month I received 2 new spice jars and so forth until the final shipment which contained the wooden rack and the final four jars.
