The haunting song you hear emanating from this massive mug just may be the last thing you ever hear! Beneath its worn brown exterior and ceremonial red crest the native craftsmen of VanTiki Island have hidden an ocarina. Perhaps the chief used the flute to signal the need for a refill - or a fresh sacrifice!

VanTiki's Musical Mugs combine drinking and music with a two-hole ocarina (simple flute) sculpted into the base of the mug. The Terrifying Tooty Ku is approximately 7 inches high. He is a one-of-a-kind sculpture, never to be repeated in a musical mug. Stamped, signed by the artist, and marked with the day it was sculpted. You can celebrate its birthday!

Each VanTiki mug is a one-of-a-kind sculpture entirely crafted by hand. No molds are used in VanTiki studio, which allows detail and forms that would be impossible with traditional slip casting.
The mugs are hand-built in a high-fire stoneware and coated with food-safe glazes. While the mugs are technically dishwasher safe, Henrik strongly recommends a gentle hand washing to get every nook and cranny clean after use. The mug's odd shape makes sipping a challenge - a straw is a must!
