You are bidding on a "THEO A KOCHS", barber chair form about the 1930's I think. I purchased this barber chair from a barber shop near Broadway and Magnolia in Long Beach, CA in the 1970's. The color is a redish burgandy and it is in good condition for its age. One small 1/2" tear in the back and about 4 small chips/dents in the seat. The crome metal has some rust and the white porcelain shows some age and has a couple of stains and chips. The hydraulics work to raise and lower the chair and it does recline. As you can see it does have the headrest. The leather strap belonged to my grandfather in Arkansas and it also goes with the chair. The chair is sold in "AS IS" condition. I will not ship as the chair weight must be 150 pounds more or less. The winner of this auction must arrange for or pick the chair up. Payment must be in the form of a money order, cashier's check or cash. Have fun collecting and thanks for looking! :)
