Early 1900s Teddy Roosevelt Advertising Baby Bottle Candy Container / Whiskey Nip Antique Guaranteed! DESCRIPTION OF ITEM: Early 1900s political advertisement for the Theodore Roosevelt political campaign. The bottle was originally filled with candy and passed out to children by campaigners, possibly by the opposition. Others that held whiskey were marked Teddy's Rye. The bottle measures approx. 4" x 2½". The glass is embossed on the front: "For Your Baby, 5-10 Testimony, 10-15 Ceremony, 15-20 Matrimony, 20-30 Alimony, 30-40 Easy Money, Nothing Doing". The back is embossed "Teddy's Pet, Peaceful Nights". Enlargements The bottle is in overall good shape with no cracks, nips or chips. The bottom shows scuffs and scratches along with some discoloration. There are some small spots of soiling to the interior. The word YOUR on the front of the bottle is worn down to almost smooth. There are the typical bubbles and imperfections adding charm and authenticity. Please note that the bottle is shown in our photos larger than it is in person for detailed viewing purposes.
