This listing is for the pictured Tibetan Buddhist Singing Bowl from the himalayas View All Items View Auctions Only View Store Items Every handmade Tibetan singing bowl is different from the next one ... this particular bowl measures approximately 4 3/8" wide, stands 2 1/8" tall, and weighs 12 oz. This one is graded as 'antique' from Nepal being 35-100 years. It is a thick heavy little singer, awesome dented feel, really worn and faded patina, and t is a mark in the bowl from a previous owner. The bowl comes with the pictured wooden striker which measures approximately 5 1/4" long. A beautiful bowl! This bowl plays B (Crown Chakra) when gonged, I couldn't get it any other notes out of it gonging. But playing around the rim , G and A come up as regular secondary overtones. . ...... to listen to the bowl being 'gonged', struck lightly with a felt wrapped mallet.
