This is the January 1953 edition of The Thing, issue #6. I would rate it very good, based on the /comic-book-grading chart. Please note that this may not be CGC equivalent grading as I am merely following the guideline descriptions. Since I am not a professional grader, I suggest that all interested parties grade the book themselves. High resolution photos are available upon request.All questions welcome.This book has no pieces missing, except one small piece on the back page (see photo). There is no writing anywhere, except one letter e on the pack page (pencil only). There is some spine stress. There is tearing around both staples that affects many pages, not just the cover and back page. The staples still hold all pages together. There is a substantial spine roll. There are no observable blemishes. This book has never been restored. There is no tape anywhere. There has never been any attempt undertaken to tamper with this book in any way whatsoever.
