Historically an Artist Proof is a short initial edition that is personally hand inspected by the artist prior to giving the go ahead for the larger printing of the signed / numbered edition. This is a beautiful covered bridge scene with a boy fishing in the foreground and his dog there keeping him company. The radiant colors and relaxing setting of this painting makes this print a favorite. I've seen this print framed several different ways, Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, Gold, Gallery type Barnwood and they all look fantastic! All depends on what you prefer for your home decor. Thomas Kinkade is the most collected living artist. Known as "The Painter of Light", he lives in California with his family of four daughters.
