You are bidding on an old Marine Chronometer of the WW II vintage . It is a Thomas Mercer from England in its original box. The number on the back of the clock is 23166 which matches the number on the front label. This Chronometer was removed from a ship by the name of SS Louise which was a bulk carrier for Carribbean Steamship Co. The clock is not working but may just need cleaning. T is a number 2802 stenciled on the side of the box. May have been an inventory number. Will accept paypal only. For overseas shipping please ask for cost. I have been informed that the chronometer is not as old as I though. It was made in 1959, which would correspond to the age of the ship it came off of. Sorry for the WWII vintage description. Shipping to England will be $60.00 via US postal service with 6-10 day delivery. DHL or Fedex would be $130.00 and up to 3 days delivery. If actual cost is less then that is what you will be charged.
