You are bidding on a machine marked Thomas Mills & Bro. Philada. PA. The Thomas Mills company made a variety of equipment for the food industry from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This particular machine was marked "stick candy machine" when I obtained it. I have been unable to verify this, but believe that this information is correct. This machine appears in good operational condition. Machine is operated by turning the handle which rotates the rollers which then leaves an impression on candy / material that has been inserted between rollers. The only damage I noticed was a hairline crack in mount w machine is bolted to the mounting board. The rollers appear to be solid brass. Without the handle, which is easily removed, the size of unit is as follows: 11 1/2" high X 10" long X 6" wide. This measurement is without the mounting board which adds an inch or 2. This machine is quite nice and quite collectable. This machine is sold "as is" and with no reserve.
