Handcarved wood Santa designed by Thomas Sparks. This piece is titled "HELPIN' OUT". Santa is in his sleigh (which actually looks more like a wing chair) with a reindeer sitting right next to him. The reason the reindeer is in the chair is because he has a cast on his leg. I guess t has been an accident so the other animals have decided to "help out" by pulling Santa themselves. Coming to the rescue are a bunny, goose, and a penguin. A bear is along for the ride, sitting on Santa's boots. On the back of the sled are the presents and sack filled with peppermint sticks and who knows what else. This piece is great example of Thomas' sense of humor and whimsey. It measures 12.5" tall 13" from front to back and 4.5" wide at the base. It is completely hand carved and hand painted. This will make a great addition to any Christmas collection. I am happy to combine shipping.
