Thomas Webb & Sons A Pair of Blue Enamel Case Glass Vases This pair of vases came out of a beach side estate in Central Florida that had an elaborate collection of antique art glass. We were able to acquire a few of the pieces which we will be listing over the next several days. These vase are just exquisite; made of cased glass with a blue satin finish that goes from a deep blue to almost white at the base. However it is the hand painted enamel that sets these vases apart from most that you see. The design is done in a bright blue raised enamel while the inside of the leaves are a shade of a blue/gray accented with a pearlized white enamel. Both vases are in "Excellent Condition" with only a 1 inch straw mark on the inside of one vase. The curator pointed out that you could feel the ridge which identifies it as a straw mark. Each vase stands 10" high by approximately 5 1/2" at the widest point. As always "Double Boxed" For Safe Travel. Price is for the pair.
