Thomsonite - Polished 1/4 pound total weight - 125+ pieces This Thomsonite was collected in the early 60’s along the beaches and from the basalt host rock on North Shore of Lake Superior about 5 miles southwest of Grand Marais, MN. The best localities for collecting this material have been closed to the public, or it is on Private property, so it is not easy to get. Finding the Thomsonite is one challenge, finding quality Thomsonite like this is another challenge. Not only is this great quality material it is polished to a high shine, which is not easy to do either. This is mostly pink and white in color with some Green-Grey material (Greenish-Grey is a Lintonite variety). You will receive the polished Thomsonite pictured. I will combine shipping.
