The Mighty Thor #214 Highest CGC Graded Copy - The Only 9.8! August, 1973 CGC 9.8 - Off-white to White Pages Up for bid is an beautiful copy of Thor #214 from August of 1973. CGC has graded this book Near Mint/Mint (9.8) with Off-White to White pages. All Thor comics up for auction today are 9.8s, and some of them are the highest graded and only 9.8s in existence! This is the highest CGC graded copy of this book in existence per CGC latest census released 3/5/08. This title just seems to get hotter and hotter and books like this one are becoming harder and harder to find. SHIPPING (DOMESTIC) : I keep my shipping costs fair and simple. I do not charge a handling fee. (I do, however, require that your comic books are fully insured - please see below.) As for shipping, I charge you only what it costs me to ship your books. I ship USPS Priority Mail in their Flat Rate boxes. These boxes cost $8.95 to ship so that is what I charge you. I usually can fit 3 or 4 cgc comics in a box. Tfore, if you win multiple auctions with me and all of your items fit in one box, $8.95 is all you will pay for shipping. If all of your wins will bot fit in one box, your shipping charge will be $8.95 times as many boxes as it takes to ship all of your items. SHIPPING (INTERNATIONAL) : I will ship internationally. Price depends on destination and services available. I will only charge you what I have to pay for shipping. I require that your comic books are fully insured - please see below. I cannot accept international checks of any kind. International bidders must use paypal. INSURANCE : I require that all shipments are fully insured at your expense. This is to protect you . I package my comics very well and I have never had a problem with shipping. However, I will not ship any comics until I receive pay payment in full, including shipping costs and insurance. its just the way I roll, folks. Please do not contact me after the auction ends and request that i ship without insurance or tell me that I shouldn't insure your books because you have some type of insurance that will somehow cover me - I WILL NOT DO IT! If this is too large or a problem for you, please do not bid! Although this listing says insurance is $3.00, you will only be charged what the insurance actually costs. For some reason eBay forces you to enter a present amount when you list the item. CHECKING OUT : Please do not check out until I send you an invoice. Your invoice will include all shipping and insurance costs. If you pay prior to my sending an invoice to you, and you do not pay the proper shipping and insurance costs, I will hold you funds and send you notice of what you owe for shipping and insurance. I will not ship your books until this is paid. Personal checks take 10 business days to clear. RETURNS : Please be aware that I do not offer returns on CGC graded comic books. NO EXCEPTIONS - If this is a problem for you, please do not bid! I will mention all notes contained on the comic's CGC label concerning the condition of the comic. If you want to know if t is writing ot a date stamp on a comic, ask me and I will check it. If you fail to ask me and bid and win a comic, it is at your own peril. I will not entertain requests for returns because of dissatisfaction with the condition on a CGC graded comic. I am making no representation about the grade of any comic. I am merely restating the grade CGC gave the comic. And finally, I am auctioning comics, not CGC cases. All comics I am auctioning are in CGC cases that are structurally sound. That is, they are not cracked or open in any way. However, the CGC cases may be scrathed. If you're curious as to whether a particular case is scratched, let me know and I will check it for you. Otwise, I will not entertain requests for returns because of dissatisfaction with the condition of the CGC case. I hope this is clear. If you cannot accept this, do not bid.
