THREE BEARS PICTURE BOOK Colour plates Walter Crane 4 titles in 1 Toy Books /stores/viewstore.aspx The Three Bears' Picture Book. Compilation of four of Walter Crane's Toy books - The Three Bears; Adventures of Puffy; Cinderella; Valentine and Orson. Illustrated in colour by Walter Crane. Published in London by George Routledge and Sons. Not dated but I have been unable to locate a copy later than 1870s. 9.5ins by 7ins. 32pp of pictures with short text and a colour illustration by Walter Crane on each page, printed by Edmund Evans. No separate title pages were included, just an overall one at the front. Pages 1 and 2 of the first story have some damage in lower half of pages with a little surface loss. Scattered spots of foxing, particularly in first few pages. Hinges a little loose but still holding. Original brown boards lettered and with design in grey/white are somewhat rubbed and with surface loss, mainly on spine.
