'Three cheers for the Red, White, and Blue..." Just in time to honor the Fourth of July. I have this delightful 'June '53' outfit to list! It just happens to have the red, white, and blue in the dress....along with some green and black in the plaid. The outfit is in good to very good condition. There are no holes, stains, or faded areas. It does look like the hook could have been repaired or re-sewn because there is white thread that shows--ever so slightly-- in the band. I think the band could be tacked down a little in the back, but it's not absolutely necessary. The white organdy maintains most of its original whiteness. The dress stands up by itself so it is still crisp. Same for the 'Vogue' tag inside the waist. The elastic at the waist of the matching panties is a bit stretched out as you can probably see is the picture of it above. This is a popular and 'patriotic' outfit. This auction is for the dress and matching panties ONLY.....The hat will be listed separately.....If you like the doll modeling, you are in luck. She is already listed in a separate auction. Thanks for looking.....Questions always welcome.
