includes a teapot, a covered sugar dish, and a cream pitcher, the first and last bearing the mark of Samuel Kirk of Baltimore, Maryland (1792-1872). All pieces have a band of repousse` grapevine decoration, and die-stamped banded decoration around their bases. The teapot also has a foliate-decorated C-scroll handle, fruit-decorated lid, and a bird-form spout. The cream pitcher has the same bird-form decoration incorporated into its C-scroll handle, and both the sugar and the teapot have identical foliate finials. The pieces measure 10.25` high (teapot), 8.75` high (sugar), and 7.25` high (cream pitcher), and their total weight is approx. 77 ozt (2400 g).
