These are three beautiful 1969 signed CIVIL WAR prints entitled "The Chase," "Dawn Patrol," and "The Charge" in mint condition showing virtually no wear. The prints are from original paintings by artist James F. Omohundro and were printed by Heritage Prints, Inc. in 1969. "The Chase" (Plate I) is numbered 498 and the "The Charge" (Plate III) is numbered 352. Dawn Patrol (Plate II) is unnumbered. The heavy gray paper folio cover (photo #10) will be included with the set. The prints measure 27 5/8" X 19 1/4" and, because the prints are on heavy paper not very compatible with rolling, will be shipped in a side loaded corrugated box and NOT rolled into a tube. If you are interested in just one or two of the prints and not the complete set, please feel free to send a proposal. The prints depict famous Civil War Scout, John Burwell Omohundro, Jr. nicknamed "Texas Jack". He was a scout for Confederate General Jeb Stuart. After the war he performed with Buffalo Bill in the "The Trapper". He was a regular in Ned Buntline's Weekly Reader.
