This is a lot of three small jigsaw puzzles fashioned by Stave Puzzlesof Vermont, arguably the best puzzle-maker in the world. All theirpuzzles are backed by fine wood, cut by hand, and include devilish features to vex players. To make things more difficult, Stave puzzle boxes are blank--you don't get a glimpse of the picture that you are assembling until you solve the puzzle.The first of these three puzzles comes in a blue box and consists of 23 pieces that form a still life. It also includes three 'special' pieces that are cut to resemble known objects: A strawberry, a flower, and the Stave logo, a clown.The second comes in a green box, contains 20 pieces, and pictures a dog in a green frame. Its sole special piece is the Stave clown.The third and final puzzle comes in a blue box, contains 24 pieces, and forms an image of houses surrounded by green trees. Its special pieces are a squirrel and the clown.The puzzles might seem small, but they are NOT easy.
