Very nice set of this famous edition. Published in 1878. All maps are present. Maps are a little bit fragile with some separation here and there but completely intact. Binding is strong, pages are very clean, hinges are intact.You will find the white area on one of the hinges is not separation but simply the brown paper lining tearing, likely at production when first opened, perhaps the original gluing seeping through? My photos show you the important areas of the book as far as knowing what you are buying and the condition of the book. Please feel free to ask me any questions and I wil give you a prompt reply.
