T his offering is for one Thumler Type A rock polisher.W e had this in a box for years before it got used. Had some Great Lake Superior rocks which we polished and it worked great. That's the last time it was used. Am guessing it's and older model because it uses metal canisters instead of plastic ones but you put a sheet of rubber, also supplied, in each one to get the desired effect. It worked flawlessly with the exception that the belt wears a little and makes some fuzzy dust. I'm assuming this is normal because beside being able to buy lots of grits and polishes here on EBay they also sell spare belts. This unit can tumble 6 pounds worth of rocks in two canisters at a time.I might have been a little too liberal with oiling (I'm not sure I had to do it anyway) so it's a little dirty. But everything is there including one more three pound polishing load worth of abrasives. I don't have the polishing instructions but there are plenty of references on the web and this company is still very much in business.S omeone should get the fun from this machine. If you haven't done it before it produces some wonderful stones just like in the store. We were amazed at the results.
