Thundercats Red Eye prototype toy packaging artwork original. The mat is 20" x 30" with the actual drawing 16" x 23". The two characters, Red Eye (bad guy) and Snarf, are separate drawings glued to the background. Background seems to be hand done in colored markers. The front acetate sheet says, "lift matt & acetate to shoot" with an arrow pointing down. I obtained this about 20 years ago at an auction in Van Nuys, Ca. The artwork has been in dark storage and never been displayed so colors are not faded.Additional information from - " These type of drawings were used for the toy boxes. The unique thing about yours is that Red Eye (the name of the character) was never released so you have the art work that is for a toy that never made it into production."The Holiday season is upon us so shop early and get some great items for those special people in your life!
