Personally autographed Thurman Munson, Jim "Catfish" Hunter and Jim Mason baseball. This is a RARE and DESIRABLE item for any true baseball fan. You are bidding on a VERY RARE personally autographed baseball signed by Thurman Munson, Jim "Catfish" Hunter and Jim Mason. This ball was signed during the grand opening of a dry cleaners in Dumont, New Jersey in 1974. I was 10 years old and stood in line with my mother for over 4 hours to personally meet these New York Yankees greats. The baseball that these autographes are on is a Wilson, A1272, Jim "Catfish" Hunter ALL*STAR. **Thurman Munson played for the New York Yankees between 1969 until his tragic death on August 2, 1979. He was a (9) time All-Star and was the team's first captain since Lou Gehrig. **Jim "Catfish" Hunter played for the New York Yankees between 1975 and 1979. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1987. He died September 9,1999 due to complications after being diognosed with (ALS) Lou Gehrig's Disease. ** Jim Mason played for the New York Yankees between 1974 and 1976.
