Mid Century Modern Farmed Art Pottery Tile Picture by H & G Thynne of England.Composed of four tiles that depict a procession of figures, possibly nuns, against a stained glass background. In its original wood frame with white painted wood mat. Maker; In raised letters on the back of each tile, H & G Thynne, Made in England.Condition: The Tiles, no chips or cracks. Faint crazing is limited to the dark blue areas, appears to have occurred when the tiles were fired. Very rich colors. The mat, paint worn in certain areas. The frame, faded at the right end, other nicks and rubs to the finish. Dimensions: 28 1/4" X 10 1/4". Each tile is 6" X 6". Weighs, 4 pounds, 6 ounces.
