Tibaldi Modello 50 Fountain Pen in Rosso Verde : Very Rare !
Very rare Tibaldi Modello 50 Fountain Pen in Beautiful smooth and shiny famous Tibaldi Celluloid. This is one of the Great Tibaldis from the 1990-s when they produced an array of pens in probably the best celluloid ever made. Old Tibaldi Celluloid stock is still being used for the production of limited editions of other brands. The celluloid of this Tibaldi 50 in Rosso-Verde has been used for 2 series of Limited Editions by Stipula and was called Terra di Siena by them. Models like the 60, 50, Iride, Bononia, Trasparente and Impero are still very popular. The Modello 60 in the color Avorio-Blue is seen pretty often, the Modello 60 also exists in the present color, Rosso-Verde but that 60 is much rarer. The present model 50 is the smaller brother of that model 60 and is very rare in this Reddish-Green color. It might be the smaller brother of the 60, however this Modello 50 is by no means a small pen, it has about the same length as a Pelikan 600. The modello 50 has 5 Gold colored rings and a beautiful gold-plated clip. Pen has a 18-K single tone Golden F-nib and is a genuine Piston filler. I have made some close-up pictures to show you the rich colors of this great Celluloid Fountain Pen. I've bought this pen Like New in Box about three years ago, it was never used, inked or even dipped and included in my collection. Boxes and booklet are included as can be seen in the photographs. Length of pen= 140 mm / 5.51 inch. Paypal only as is required by Shipping with tracking and insurance for items higher than $ 100,- is obligatory, however included in the prices listed.
