Soon after Jiang’s paintings were “discovered” by a reporter working for the National Geographic in China, Jiang’s life changed forever. His biography is readily available on the Internet, but, in shorthand: “A friend of the reporter brought them to the Fingerhut Gallery in Minneapolis, where Jiang's work met with great success.
