This auction is for two, Tiffany & Co. Private Stock, hand painted Bigouden pattern salad/dessert plates. The two plates measure 8" in diameter. Although used, they are in very good condition with no chips, or repairs. There are a few light scratches or wear that show in my pictures but it is minimal. Fully marked as shown with a date mark from 1973. The Bigouden pattern is derived from a Dutch pattern and is brilliantly decorated by hand in yellow, blue and orange. Private stock plates are rarely on the market and are extremely costly. Please check the Tiffany & Co. web site where similar Private Stock plates are listed in the $600.00 to $800.00 per plate range. Tiffany & Co. owns the French Le Tallec Co. where it is not unusual to wait a year for their custom patterns. These plates, so rarely on the market are easy to combine with other porcelains and will not disappoint. Always happy to answer your questions.
