Check out my other items ! we have one other Tiffany Favrile item in our store. This short Tiffany Favrile Vase used to be one or two inches taller. Someone decided that it had developed too many chips or flea bites at the top of the vase and decided to cut it bak an inch or two. The irony is that in doing so henor she left the vase vulnerable to future flea bites around thenew rim he or she created and as you can see in the very close-up photos- t are still flea bites around the rim. I am tempted to try to polish those out, but I think I'll leave well enough alone. I always assumed that the wooden lid was part of the original vase, but I don't know that for a fact. This all results in an great opportunity to own a genuine piece of Tiffany Favrile glass at a very reasonable price- signed L.C.T. and demonstrating all the fine characteristics of this beautiful Roman-revival art form. You'll be able to buy a $400 piece of glass for $200 to put it bluntly.
