TIFFANY and GORHAM "Medallion" Pattern Ice Cream Set This is a completely intact thirteen-piece "Medallion" pattern ice cream set in its original fitted case, straight from the owner's family! On the back it bears the Gorham trademark and "STERLING PAT 1864." It also carries the retailer mark for "TIFFANY & CO," as does the original presentation case. The ice cream server measures 9" long and the twelve (12) spoons are each 6" long. The combined weight is 11.6 troy ounces. Condition of the silver is truly excellent, although it was at some point in the past wrapped and stored in plastic. Most of the silver still has some bits of add plastic wrap and tarnish. This can be removed by the buyer, but we did clean and polish two pieces to show off the set's beauty and restored condition. The fitted leather case shows wear but still latches closed and is in remarkable condition for its age. Questions are welcome prior to bidding. Thanks for looking and good luck!
