From a local estate: Huge Tiffany Sterling Silver Bowl. 13.5 inches diameter and 7 inches top to bottom. Weight is 2047 grams which is 65.7 Troy ounces. Looks like about 2 gallons to me,,a bunch-a-punch. I don't know the age of this fine bowl, but very few have been made in the past 50 years. It is in fine condition with big dents or heavy scratches. It does have normal wear and some light scratches, but nothing that could not be buffed out if you want it like new. The bowl is hand engraved with a fine "Bird Dog" measuring about 5 inches wide and 3-4 inches tall. I'm not sure the exact breed, looks like some kind of Lab. T are even cattle engraved on the dog's collar. I hope the photos show the great detail of this engraving, and its kind of deep so forget removing it. . Hallmarked Tiffany and Co. Makers,,25459 is the serial number if you might want to research this fine piece. If this piece could talk probably would make an interesting movie.
