This # 364SP, as follows: This stamped " Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver 925 " magnum wine coaster is from an estate were are presently liquidating. An estate find, what you see is what you get. The estate owner said this piece was given to her as a retirement gift by 2 wine connoisseurs in the office, and are now listing for auction. She also said the reason she wants it sold was that she drinks very little wine, let alone the need for a magnum size coaster. It appears someone replaced the felt many years ago(see pic #9), but one can also see the remnants of the original Tiffany felt underneath(see pic #10), done with a fine hand but should be mentioned as not original to the piece. It has seen minor wear; but t are no noticeable scratches, dents, or dings to the silver or to the English walnut turned wood base that I can find, and it would need a good polishing left up to the new owner. The felt bag itself has some minor staining but no fraying, rips, or tears. The estate owner said it has been in the bag since she received it as a gift over 15 years ago. It measures 5 1/4" in diameter on the base and 4 1/4" in diameter at the rim that secures the wine bottle. Truly a beautiful wine coaster decorated with flowers, birds, and a spider web in relief, that would add to any Tiffany sterling silver or wine connoisseurs collection.
